New Day church was started on September 11, 2005 when Lloyd and Brenda Rindels invited a few friends to their house on a Sunday night. 70 people came the first week and had “church on the lawn.” New Day has grown steadily since that first meeting.

The Rindels have lived in the Kansas City area since 1989 and they were part of the leadership team of Metro Christian Fellowship from 1990 through 2004. During the years 1993 through 2004 they directed the Masters Commission program at MCF.

After returning from ministry in Northern Ireland in May 2005, they felt the Lord invite them to start New Day. New Day is made up of people who believe in the Gospel of Grace. We are on the journey of learning to live loved by God and His people. We love to worship, we like hanging out with each other and we are hopeful that as others find us and connect with us that they find God's unconditional love through Jesus being express in us.
