We are anchored by five central themes that help direct our worship, lifestyle and values of relationship to God and each other:
The Unconditional Love of God: We believe that the new covenant cannon teaches us that God loves us in every circumstance of our life. John 3:16 teaches us that God so loved the world that He gave us His son that whoever would believe on Him would receive eternal life. We believe that God’s grace enables us to experience this love and walk in the freedom of knowing that God is for us and not against us.
Justification by Faith: We believe that Christ died to embrace our sin, our failure and weakness, that we might receive His eternal forgiveness and acceptance. We believe that it is by His grace alone that we are saved and made right with Him.
Co-Union with Christ: We believe that when someone accepts God’s plan of salvation through Jesus Christ that they become “born-again”, in that they receive a new identity and nature and are joined to God through the indwelling of His Holy Spirit.
Assurance of Salvation: We believe that our eternal life is secure in what God has done in His grace towards us and that nothing can or will separate us from His great love for us. We believe that we have been completely forgiven and that our eternity is secure.
Abundant Life: We believe that God is in charge and that He came not only to bring salvation but to bring us life. We understand that life can be difficult and that tragedy and pain is real and that there are times when survival seems to be the only option. In those times we believe that God is still with us, will never abandon us and will work those things towards our good because He is good and life is worth living.
