SMALL GROUPS

We were all created for relationship--with God and others. Small groups foster those relationships, and that’s why they are an integral part of church life at New Day. Small Groups provide a safe environment to:

•connect with others

•grow in relationship with Jesus

•share stories

•receive prayer

•experience healthy Christian growth & discipleship

Our small groups typically meet in people’s homes and enjoy an intimacy that is difficult to achieve in our larger Sunday morning setting. No Small Group is the same and we have a wide variety of groups here at New Day. Some groups provide opportunities to discuss pastoral messages and share Bible study, others dialogue about the issues and challenges of life. Some are simply built around food & fun times. Whatever the theme or emphasis--friendships are strengthened and no one feels alone.

We encourage every member at New Day, to become part of a small group. That way, each person in our community experiences and shares God’s love with others in practical ways. You can view a list of our current groups by clicking here.

If you want to start a small group, the best way to begin is by inviting 5 to 10 people who’d like to join you in forming a group. Initially, you’ll serve as “leader” to get things going, but don’t be hesitant to share the tasks of organizing and facilitating the group with everyone involved.
